Londoner Len Lands a Lovely

Len Smith from London had an amazing string of fish during a session on his lovely Norfolk syndicate water. Using the Warlock fishmeal boilies in Cranberry and Garlic flavour Len landed many doubles but the biggest fish was this stunning 28lb 8oz common. Well done Len...exceptional angling to say the least.

Sean Sees a Sure Session Success

Sean Lewis fished on Shropshire's Hawk Lake for a 48 hour session and was rewarded with this nice looking 21lb 8oz common. The fish fell to the Warlock fishmeal's in 14mm sizes with this years devastating blackcurrant & garlic flavour. Sean found a hard spot on the far reedline where he presented his baits and his work obviously paid off. Well done Sean! Hopefully one of the lakes biggies will be coming your way soon.

Biggest Mirror for Gaz in Trio of Bests

This nice looking 23lb 3oz mirror was caught by Gaz Wharton during the Hawk Lake pairs carp match and won Gaz the biggest mirror carp prize for the weekend. Not only that but it contributed to Gaz and his match partners overall weight of fish to acheive 1st place. The fish took a liking to the warlock fishmeal boilies in maple flavour and is also Gaz's personal best mirror carp...first place? biggest mirror? a personal best and a pocket full of cash? cant be bad for a weekends fishing? Well done Gaz!!!

Ian scores at his Cuttle Mill Pad

Ian Jones fished a day session on the well known day ticket water 'Cuttle Mill'. After an early move into a swim in a quiet corner of the lake near a set of lilly pads Ian introduced small amounts of the Warlock strawberry boilies and pellets throughout the day to try and gain the interest of one or two fish that were evidently moving amongst the pads. About an hour before dark Ian had a tremendous take on the pad rod that he had walked down and dropped in over the baited area and managed to coax a hard fighting fish into the net after a tremendous battle. The common went 25lb 8oz on the scales and was Ian's first fish over 20lb's from the historical venue.

  Crime Watch @ Annual Mess

During the weekend of 11th-13th July Bill Hopkins ran the Annual 'Cyprinid Products' Carp Match on Shropshire's Merrington Pool.

A total of 16 anglers took part in what was to be an enjoyable yet slightly messy weekend.

click for bigger picture

Bill said 'when the lads all turned up in the car park on the Friday it was more like a line up from "Crime Watch" although these are some of the best lads I have ever had the pleasure to fish with'.

On the Saturday night the BBQ went into the early hours and in all quite a few of the lads were only there for the weekends social.

However a few of the lads were quite competetive with Phil Madeley doing the business overall. Phil managed 82lb 6oz's of carp for his efforts on the ''warlock' strawberry fishmeals to take first place. His biggest fish of the weekend a lovely 21lb 8oz mirror (pictured).

Bill continued: 'Many thanks have to go to Elaine for having us back again this year on Merrington. It was a cracking laugh with the boys again and I came out of the weekend with only a broken guest chair and broken bedchair so it must have been a good session.

PB for Calvin

Calvin Bailey from Whitchurch in Shropshire managed a quick overnighter on Hawk Lake and fished tight to the far reedline in the first bay. Using a 'Cyprinid Products' Cranberry & Black Pepper bottom bait with 15 freebies over the top Calvin was over the moon to catch this personal best fish of 25lbs 14oz. The common came just as Calvin was packing away in the morning and it was on the only rod he had left out after reeling the other one in.

They keep coming for Andy

Andy Madeley is still doing some mega hauling on Hawk Lake using the blackcurrant & garlic frozen readymades. Its almost getting too much to keep up with really as Andy has by now had around 30 fish since the start of the season on Hawk with almost half being over 20lb's. Here he is again with another stunning common of 27lb 12oz.

Three big ones

During a three night stint on a Colne Valley gravel pit Bill Hopkins landed 3 fish using the Warlock fishmeal frozen readymades in the cranberry & garlic flavour. The first fish was a mid double common taken from between gravel bars at 50 yards range amongst light silkweed where the fish were showing. The second fish is the pictured 35lb 12oz mirror taken from the same area only a short while after the common was caught and on the same rod after the recast. To round the session off Bill finally landed another mirror of precisely 24lb's. All the fish were caught on Snowman set-up's with 16mm bottom baits of the cranberry & garlic and 14mm Snowman toppers in the blackcurrant & garlic flavour over the top. Bill said the fight from the big mirror was awesome as he had it on for over half an hour. It powered off early morning just after the common had been returned and bored deep between the bars and at one point picking up one of the other lines. With a little bit of 'knit one, pearl one' Bill was able to free the offending line from the action just in time to stop the powerful mirror from reaching some dangerous snags in a bay to his left. Soon it succumbed to steady pressure and was coaxed into the awaiting net.

The Force in the Roots

Luke (the force) Roberts destroyed his personal best carp twice in one session. During the opening week on Hawk Lake Luke firstly banked a nice 25lb 8oz common beating his original pb of 22lb's. Luke went on to then catch Hawk's amazing 'razor' common at a fantastic 31lb 12oz. The Warlock fishmeal readymades in maple flavour did the business and the big fish put up a terrific fight in the swim known as the 'roots'. Luke was over the moon with his capture and of course now joins the Hawk 30+ club, not a bad result for the 16 year old apprentise bricklayer.

Awesome Hauling

Andy Madeley continued his amazing string of success on Hawk Lake during a further four nights on the famous Shropshire venue. Still using our blackcurrant & garlic frozen readymades Andy banked a further string of fantastic commons including this lovely 28.06. Andy has had no fewer than seventeen fish altogether so far in a total of five nights fishing with eleven fish over the twenty pound mark. Thats 'Awesone Hauling''

6 "drop off" for Andy

Andy 'the cat' Madeley had an amazing result from a swim known as the 'drop off' on Shropshire's Hawk Lake. During an 18 hour stint Andy landed a total of 6 fish including two doubles a 21lb 11oz mirror a 25lb 8oz common a 26lb 1oz common and to top the session off a 27lb 12oz common. Andy was using the 'warlock fish mix' frozen ready made boilies flavoured with his favourite blackcurrant & garlic smell (the two biggest commons are pictured). A cracking result from a cracking angler!

Oz and Nic go the distance for their best performance in a week long session to savour

Austin (Oz) Hopson and Nic Roberts spent the last week in April on the lovely Chateau Lake deep in the heart of the Loire Valley in a party of eight anglers who were all using Cyprinid Products leads.

After spodding a large bed of bait over a 250 yard stretch between the group the best session ever was soon to come. Everyone had a pb with more fish landed than ever before when they had been on previous occasions and pictured is Oz with a cracking 39lb pot bellied mirror and also Nic with a 40lb 8oz stunner.

Darren's got a "Pretty One"

Darren Mann from Whitchurch really found his form on farlows lake in Buckinghamshire. Using the Cyprinid Products 'snowman toppers' in Blackcurrant & Garlic as single hookbaits at range Darren first took a stunning 26lb 13oz common and later followed that up with the magnificent 36lb 9oz mirror known as 'the pretty one'. Darrens previous pb was 25lbs so to say he was over the moon is a complete understatement.

Terry Pulls a Cracker

Terry Smith is still catching them from his local pool on the warlock fishmeal frozen ready made boilies. A mix of fruit flavoured smells in the bait proved worthwhile as the pictured 23lb common shows, a cracker for this time of year. Who said fishmeals don't work in the winter?

Strawberry in Winter

Ben (Animal) Horton from Whitchurch in Shropshire managed to land two lovely fish during an overnight session on a welsh stillwater. Using 14mm Warlock Fish Mix strawberry boilies as freebies and hookbaits in conjunction with small pva bags of pellets Ben caught fish of 21lb 1oz (common) and 18lb 8oz (mirror). A great winter result!

Winter Fodder

Bill Hopkins has proved on countless occasions in the past that fishmeals can be just as fruitful in the winter as in the summer months, and once again Bill has come up trumps with this stunning 26lb common from Shropshire's Hawk Lake. Even in the depths of winter Bill reckons a high protein fishmeal can outfish even the best of birdfoods or milk proteins as the carp can pick up on the nourishment of a better foodsource. Using a large PVA bag filled with the ever-faithful Warlock strawberry fishmeal boilies and just a few grit sized pellets Bill tempted the hungry common from a silty area in Hawk's second bay.

Animal's Crackers

Ben 'Animal' Horton' has just recently began using the 'Warlock Fish Mix' frozen ready made boilies and has already had some fantastic results. Fishing a quiet Welsh venue Ben has caught than no less than five carp already of which four were over 20lb's. Combinations of pellets and single Banana & Lemon Grass pop-ups and pva bags of pellets over the top of the strawberry fishmeals seem to have done the trick for Ben as the two pictured photographs show. Both fish were cracking commons weighing 20lb 8oz and 22lb 13oz respectively. Hopefully the results will keep coming for Ben who seems to be on top of his game when tracking a fish or two down.

Six are Tortued!!!! in France

On 6th October a six angler party from the 'Cyprinid Products' stable fished Lake Tortue in France on the Croix Blanche Complex for a weeks session. The week went well with everyone catching although unfortunately a few fish were lost and the conditions were quite dire to say the least for the best part of the week due to falling temperatures and heavy overnight mists. A couple of fish of note that are pictured here are of Bill Hopkins 45.08 mirror and Jason Hopkins 74.04 catfish. Andy had a 23+ within 5 minutes of his first cast as soon as he arrived at the venue and followed up with other fish during the week of 21lb and 26lb's plus doubles. Andy was using single strawberry 14mm bottom baits with a whittled down cranberry and garlic wafter on the top. Andy said 'The warlock fishmeals were pretty much the only other thing other than the house bait that caught anything as the fishing was slow for everyone due to the poor conditions during the week.

A Successful Formula

A quick overnight flit around his heavy work schedule produced this magnificent 24lb 5oz mirror for Bill Hopkins. Bill said 'I have been snowed under with bait and lead orders this month and it has definitely told upon the amount of time I have had available for my own fishing. The work has really paid off though as Cyprinid Products has really taken off this year with everyone having loads of joy on the products we manufacture, especially bait-wise. The results from different lads all over the country really speak for themselves with many PB's being broken. I have managed to be able to get out on the odd short overnight session myself in between coping with orders and it has been paying dividends recently with some nice fish being banked so I can't complain'.

Jason and Bill Hopkins targeted Hawk Lakes monastry bay for the chance of a fish or two and came up trumps with some awesome fish. Jason managed five fish during a two night session from a swim known as the 'Cheeky Coot' including the 25lb mirror pictured. Bill Himself managed to land a lovely common of 21lb 4oz during a quick overnighter. All the fish fell to the warlock fishmeal frozen ready made boilies with a new smell they have both been testing-'Smoked Fish & Black Pepper'. Jason has since been back on and had another fish of 26lb's recently. Bill reckons the smell from this one is awesome and loads of fish in the future are going to be banked using it.

Congratulations to Cyprinid Products Match Winner -Darren Mann !!

On the weekend of the 20th-22nd July Cyprinid Products held a singles carp match on Merrington pool of which 14 anglers were in attendance. His first single overnighter produced six fish haul including a 21+ common and Andy was keen to get back on the cracking day ticket venue. From peg 15 just a few weeks after his first trip Andy fished open water using stringers of the warlock strawberry fishmeals and landed three carp and unfortunately also lost two fish. Cyprinid Products are running a carp match on Merrington later this month which became fully booked within days of releasing the info. Two night Super Session !!!!!!!

Ian Jones from Llay near Wrexham spent a two night session on Merrington Pool not long after breaking his arm. The session really put him to the test in such unfortunate circumstances as Ian absolutely hauled carp for the 48 hour duration. 19 fish overall were landed 17 of which came on the second night during a massive thunderstorm after Ian had moved swim to get on fish. Pictured are two fish from his mega-haul, a 23.02 common caught using the 'Big Fish Method Mix'  and a 21.14 mirror using a PVA bag of pellets and the Warlock strawberry fishmeal boilies. Tom & Terry's Serial Success

Terry Smith and his son Tom have been reaping the rewards for persistent time and effort on a tricky local Shropshire venue. Both Terry and Tom have had some really nice fish from the water through short sessions and hard baiting which has certainly paid off with good results. Although they have lost a few fish in the past via some unkindly resident snags in the lake, much fine tuning of rigs and careful bait presentation has produced regular action for them. Terry is pictured with a lovely mirror carp of 20lbs and Tom is shown with a stunning 23.08 common. They have fooled different fish from the venue by asking us to change the flavours and additives regularly although the base mix is always still the same warlock fish mix. Every change they have made has fooled carp in the past up to Terry's 33.08 pictured earlier on this page and the fish are certainly on the food source big time. Keep them coming lads!
